Racing Experience (in years):
I have run races for the past 20 years but have only put my time and energy into them for the past 10 years. I have done a couple mt bike races in the last 3 years. Too scared to do a road race!
Bike(s): Mountain Bike is a Trek 6000,
Road Bike is a Fuji Silhouette
Favorite Race(s): Mountain bike is Mud, Sweat and Beers, The GR Mud Run for a smaller fun run, (I guess you can say I like mud – hhhmm) I love doing relay races with our team members - just so much fun to be out there enjoying the things I love with people I love. I also enjoy the GR ½ marathon – so well organized and I think the race director is a great motivator.
Hobbies: Besides running and biking? I love to read, travel – great combining travel with racing.
Why Do You Compete? To stay motivated, better myself, and be around other people who have the same interests as me.
What Is Your Favorite Race Memory? Crossing the finish line of the Alaska Marathon – my first marathon – very emotional.
What's Your Most Embarrassing Race Memory? Having to stop and poop under a bush at the Resolution Run this year! Had the stomach flu and probably shouldn’t have run. I will forever call the race the Resolution Runs.
