I competed in track in high school and college. In 2000 I decided to run the Riverbank 25k Run for the first time. I continued running races, including a marathon in 2001, until I decided to try my first triathlon in 2007. In 2009 I decided to enter my first bike race, BTR Criterium, and I've been hooked ever since.

What's Your Most Embarrassing Race Memory?
During Millennium Tri in 2008 my rear tire fell off about 4 miles into the bike portion. It was like riding on ice, I couldn't stop. Then again, at Fisk Knob in 2011 it fell off once I crossed the finish line. Both times my tt bike. Better learn to tighten that better!
